We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to join our team at Stonecroft Health Campus. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of our Nursing Service Department.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management and be able to lead our clinical team with confidence and compassion. You will work closely with our Director of Health Services to select, retain, develop, and lead our nurses, as well as coordinate nursing and ancillary services to ensure the continuity of care for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the selection, retention, development, and leadership of the clinical team.
  • Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders.
  • Implement our clinical staffing model and participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
  • Prepare for facility surveys and accreditation programs.
  • Perform administrative duties, including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
  • Provide direct nursing care as necessary, including on-call duties.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • 0-1 years of experience in nursing management or a related field.
  • A valid state RN license and current CPR certification.
  • The ability to lift at least 50 pounds and maintain verbal and written communication with colleagues, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and business associates.
