The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Director of Health Services in managing the daily operations of the Nursing Service Department. This role involves overseeing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing quality care to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Director of Health Services to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
- Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services as needed with other department leaders to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care.
- Implement and maintain our clinical staffing model.
- Participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Prepare for facility surveys and accreditation programs made by authorized regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- A current, valid state RN license.
- CPR certification.
