Health Information Management Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Health Information Management Specialist to join our team at MultiCare Health System, Inc. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient charts, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of information throughout the clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain patient chart filing systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
- Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and data exchange
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines related to health information management
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- One year of previous clerical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic environment
- Six months of experience in medical record filing, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting
