Compensation Details:
  • Hourly wage of $22.00, dependent on experience and location
  • Potential for a performance-based raise after 90 days

Key Responsibilities:

Shift: 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with some flexibility as needed.

Role Summary: The sanitation specialists are tasked with maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse environment, which includes:

  • Regular sweeping and cleaning of floors, lunchrooms, and freezer areas
  • Addressing standing water and other hazards
  • Breaking down and recycling boxes
  • Utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for waste disposal
  • Monitoring for pest activity
  • Completing daily sanitation inspection logs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is beneficial

Training will be provided for all necessary equipment, including electric pallet jacks, forklifts, floor scrubbers, and scissor lifts.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience using a pressure washer
  • Comfortable working at heights with a scissor lift
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Able to work in refrigerated environments (33°F to 36°F)
  • Willingness to work in freezer conditions for extended periods
  • Ability to operate safely in a fast-paced environment with heavy equipment and pedestrian traffic

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous janitorial experience (1 year preferred)
  • Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus
