Clean and Disinfect Hospital Environments

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hospital Sanitation Specialist to join our team at the University of Washington. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our hospital environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect all furniture, fixtures, and equipment according to procedure.
  • Remove and properly handle soiled linen; disinfect and remake beds in patient rooms.
  • Dust and wet mop hard floors with disinfectant.
  • Empty and reline wastebaskets.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
