Position Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing the duties and responsibilities outlined below while fostering a collaborative and solution-focused environment with colleagues, suppliers, and clients. This role demands strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision. A high proficiency in forklift operation is essential, along with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to assist both internal teams and external clients.
  • Conduct safety inspections on forklifts.
  • Handle receiving tasks, including unloading, counting, and inspecting incoming materials.
  • Supply the production area with necessary materials and collaborate with other departments to address material-related issues.
  • Maintain and organize inventory, perform cycle counts, and report any discrepancies.
  • Adhere to a safety-first work ethic.
  • Support and promote the corporate vision, mission, and values.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience is required.
  • Basic math skills, ability to read a tape measure, and proficiency in using a computer, along with the capability to lift heavy items.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Must comply with all safety regulations and policies.
