Role Responsibilities:
As a Multi-Modality Technologist II, you will be responsible for:
1. Conducting comprehensive screenings and performing both inpatient and outpatient MRI examinations, including initiating IVs.
2. Utilizing your expertise in breast MRI and performing breast MRI biopsies, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
3. Working within a structured schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential for night shift differentials.
Key Functions:
1. Execute procedures by adhering to and confirming referring providers' orders, applying independent judgment and established methodologies.
2. Educate patients and their families about the procedures and treatments, demonstrating professionalism and fostering teamwork.
3. Produce high-quality imaging results and compile necessary patient information for prompt interpretation.
4. Maintain equipment quality control and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
5. Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards in radiology practice, including confidentiality of patient information.
6. Ensure efficient departmental workflow and manage inventory to prevent service interruptions.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- National certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in relevant modalities.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
- Certification in at least two modalities, including MRI, is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional education or experience in related fields is advantageous.
