Job Responsibilities:

As an MDS Integration Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating collaboration between therapy services and facility staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Optimizing collaboration for therapy services with facility MDS personnel
  • Ensuring accurate functional outcomes and identifying training needs
  • Implementing MDS-related programs that enhance patient care and facility operations

You will work closely with our team to achieve our goals within the framework of Broad River Rehabilitation's values and mission.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent geriatric clinical knowledge base
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to coach, counsel, and mentor colleagues
  • Good customer and employee problem-resolution skills
  • Knowledge of Medicare billing procedures and documentation compliance
