Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or Related Field: Possess a bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
  • Valid Rhode Island Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement: Hold a valid Rhode Island teaching license with a special education endorsement.
  • Experience Working with Students with Disabilities: Have experience working with students with disabilities and a strong understanding of their needs.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Assistive Technology and Educational Software: Be proficient in assistive technology and educational software to support student learning.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Special Education Laws and Regulations: Have a strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and regulations.
