Logistics Coordinator

At Truck Hero, we are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and shipping activities.

Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in inventory accuracy, arranging and preparing bills of lading, scheduling trucks, and customs paperwork. This position will also assist with daily shipping activities for domestic and cross-border shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits of both inbound and outbound shipments, communicating discrepancies with accountants and applicable departments as needed.
  • Participate in the coordination of year-end physical inventory counts, ensuring accuracy of labeling for visual management.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, addressing any unsafe conditions or behaviors with a supervisor.
  • Prepare paperwork and interface with original equipment manufacturers, electronic data interchange, and advanced shipping notice customers, including bills of lading, booking shipments, and advanced shipping notice regulations.
  • Assist with daily shipping activities for domestic and international shipments.
  • Understand the daily duties of the shipping department and perform tasks as needed.
  • Operate required equipment per safety guidelines, upon proper certification.
  • Perform other related and non-related duties as assigned through on-the-job training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse-related role required.
  • MS Office and MRP experience preferred.
  • Use of Sage 300 ERP system an asset.
Physical Requirements
  • This position is subject to heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Working Conditions
  • The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production and warehouse-based environment.
