Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of ocular motility disorders, utilizing specialized eye examinations to measure visual acuity, focusing capabilities, eye movements (including strabismus assessments), binocular function, and color perception, employing advanced ophthalmic tools and prisms.
- Educate ophthalmic technicians, residents, medical students, and fellow physicians on the assessment and management of sensorimotor disorders.
- Support Pediatric Ophthalmologists in the clinical assessment of patients.
- Gather detailed medical and ophthalmic histories, perform system reviews, and summarize patients' primary complaints.
- Identify visual disorders in both children and adults that hinder normal vision.
- Collaborate with physicians on treatment strategies, which may include exercises and techniques aimed at controlling eye movements.
- Utilize specialized lenses, filters, prisms, and instruments to assist patients in correcting their vision.

- Doctor of Optometry degree is mandatory.
