Job Title: Optician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As an Optician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering customer retention, and promoting outstanding associate/doctor satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Profitable Store Sales: Foster a retail selling culture by practicing NECE and using effective retail sales skills.
  • Develop Professional Relationships: Develop professional business relationships with other Associates and Doctors.
  • Fills Ophthalmic Eyeglass Prescriptions: Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and fit and adapt lenses and frames.
  • Assist with Store Merchandising: Assist with ensuring each store is effectively merchandised and presented according to Planogram and other Company standards.
  • Maximize Managed Vision Care Relationships: Maximize Managed Vision Care relationships and sales opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Education: HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification: ABO Certification.
  • Experience: Experience and results with a retail or customer service establishment.
  • Skills: Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Communication: Ability to provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet/exceed customer expectations as well as foster positive and results-oriented associate, doctor and host relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in retail operations.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience with a retail or customer service establishment.
  • Computer Skills: Experience with personal computers.
