Job Summary

As a Vision Center Manager L3, you will be responsible for leading the team in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in the Vision Center. You will ensure effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, and proper signing and inventory levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting sales, assessing economic trends and community needs, and modeling and enforcing customer service approaches and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, and proper signing and inventory levels.
  • Budget and forecast sales, assess economic trends and community needs, and develop action plans to improve performance.
  • Model and enforce customer service approaches and techniques, and provide direction and guidance to associates on proper customer service.
  • Oversee the implementation of community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates in the Vision Center, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and providing recognition.
  • Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating customers, selecting products based on customer needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining confidential information.
  • Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates and listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing company policies and procedures, and suggesting resolution for associates.
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and communicating goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Completion of 2 or more years of college or 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience or 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Additional Compensation

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Sales Volume Category (SVC).
