Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vision Center Manager to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our retail store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of associates to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective merchandise presentation, pricing, and inventory management strategies.
  • Model and enforce excellent customer service standards, providing guidance and coaching to associates to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Oversee the implementation of community outreach programs and encourage associates to participate in community service initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, analyzing reports and implementing action plans to improve performance.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with customers, selecting products, and maintaining optical equipment.
  • Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, and suggesting resolutions.
  • Coordinate and complete job-related activities, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting business plans and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Completion of 2 or more years of college or 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience or 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
