We are seeking an experienced Instructional Content Developer to join our team at the University of California. As an Instructional Content Developer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Learning Systems, primarily Cornerstone products.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy, test, and monitor eLearning and instructor-led/virtual activities, online learning communities, and material related to UCSF Leadership Institute and Center for Nursing Excellence and Innovation (CNEI).
- Utilize instructional design and multimedia development skills to shape curricular content into coherent instructional modules that encourage learner engagement.
- Demonstrate high collaboration and problem-solving skills, and interact with senior internal and external personnel with little direction for ongoing course development assignments.
The Learning and Organization Development department leads talent development strategies to inspire professional excellence and attract, develop, and retain outstanding and diverse people.
We create custom e-learning solutions and offer professional development experiences for team members, facilitating talent management.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related area and 2 or more years of directly related work experience; and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a learning management system.
- Thorough knowledge of learning management systems, preferably Cornerstone OnDemand.
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of technical tools and platforms for engaging online learning content.
- Thorough knowledge of instructional design principles and learning strategies.
- Advanced skills in planning, resourcing, and monitoring effective design life cycles of training.
