The Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center in Bangor, Maine, is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician Assistant to join its medical team.

As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare, you will work collaboratively with the hospital's medical staff to provide primary care services to patients in the onsite medical clinic.

Your role will involve conducting histories and physicals, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical issues, prescribing medications, and referring patients for diagnostic and specialty services.

You will work closely with Primary Care Physicians, Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Pharmacists, and other clinical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

This position offers a competitive annual salary of $100,000 - $120,000, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and disability insurance.

You will also enjoy flexible 30-hour workweeks during weekdays and daytime hours, 30 days of paid time off per year, and access to a Health Savings Account and 401k plan.

To be successful in this role, you should have professional licensure in Maine as a Physician Assistant and be well-versed in general medicine/primary care.
