Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all shipping documentation and related functions are executed with precision and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately completing all shipping documents and functions within the required timelines.
  • Evaluating warehouse inventory and advising on the repair schedule for necessary parts.
  • Monitoring field technician inventories and restocking parts as required.
  • Preparing bills of lading for outgoing shipments.
  • Verifying that orders are complete and that appropriate labels and documentation are applied.
  • Recording and verifying outbound shipments, and distributing or scanning documents to relevant departments.
  • Upholding workplace safety and security protocols.
  • Maintaining departmental files and routine correspondence with small parcel and LTL freight carriers.
  • Assisting with physical inventories as assigned.
  • Notifying management regarding the need to reorder shipping supplies.
  • Performing general warehouse duties, including assembly and order-filling tasks.
  • Executing other related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to comprehend and execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
