Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all shipping documentation and related functions are executed with precision and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
The primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately completing all shipping documents and functions within the required timelines.
- Evaluating warehouse inventory and advising on the repair schedule for necessary parts.
- Monitoring field technician inventories and restocking parts as required.
- Preparing bills of lading for outgoing shipments.
- Verifying that orders are complete and that appropriate labels and documentation are applied.
- Recording and verifying outbound shipments, and distributing or scanning documents to relevant departments.
- Upholding workplace safety and security protocols.
- Maintaining departmental files and routine correspondence with small parcel and LTL freight carriers.
- Assisting with physical inventories as assigned.
- Notifying management regarding the need to reorder shipping supplies.
- Performing general warehouse duties, including assembly and order-filling tasks.
- Executing other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to comprehend and execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
