Your Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Specialist in Raw Materials and Formula Management plays an essential role in managing projects related to the regulatory compliance of raw materials. This includes adherence to US FDA/FEMA/international guidelines and other relevant regulations. The position requires developing expertise in SAP and S-DMS to manage tasks such as the creation of new raw materials, providing SAP support, and ensuring formula accessibility. Collaboration with various departments within Symrise, including Regulatory Finished Product Compliance, Business Support, and Procurement, is vital. This role is based at Symrise's headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent reviews of new and existing raw materials
  • Achieve proficiency in SAP/Symcom systems
  • Revise procedures for ongoing improvement

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related discipline
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in the food industry or a similar field
  • Proficient in computer skills and technical writing
  • Understanding of Regulatory Affairs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Team-oriented with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience with SAP Symcom/EH&S systems
