Position Overview:
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide essential support to youth facing behavioral health challenges. This role is crucial in making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Work Schedule:
This position offers flexible part-time hours, including:
- Daytime: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Afterschool: 3:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer guidance and counseling techniques to families and educational staff.
- Provide therapeutic supervision to youth and families during treatment and educational activities.
- Manage aggressive behaviors using approved de-escalation and behavior management techniques.
- Document behavioral progress and collaborate with team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and experience working or volunteering with children.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize while providing guidance.
- A dependable and compassionate approach to care.
- Commitment to delivering quality service in all aspects of the role.
