**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform cleaning duties in all assigned areas, including academic buildings, classrooms, public spaces, offices, and residence halls.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures, and arrange furniture and equipment as directed.
  • Operate light power cleaning equipment and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain adequate stock of supplies in bathrooms and storage areas.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

**Requirements:**

  • High School diploma or GED with proven housekeeping or hospitality experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience.
  • Great people skills and ability to set and change priorities.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with supervisors, coworkers, and the university community.

**Work Environment/Physical Demands:**

This role is based in a normal interior building environment, requiring standing and walking, hand or finger movement, and occasional lifting of 25 lbs or less. The use of normal cleaning equipment is required.
