What Impact Will You Make?

The Senior Analyst within the American Express National Bank (AENB) Treasury team plays a vital role in the Global Treasury organization. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring balance sheet stability, governance, and compliance with recovery and resolution initiatives. The Senior Analyst will oversee the management of contingency funding and intercompany funding channels, coordinate compliance processes, and perform testing and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments across the organization (Treasury, Controllership, Legal, Global Risk and Compliance, Business Units, etc.) to fulfill recovery and resolution planning requirements, including data gathering, analysis, testing, and controls.
  • Ensure continuous access to contingent and intercompany funding, including asset pledging to the discount window.
  • Assist in internal control reviews and regulatory assessments, compiling necessary submissions and data from stakeholders.
  • Research and communicate evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate updates to Treasury policies, frameworks, and procedural documentation while driving improvements.
  • Support Management Information System (MIS) reporting and analytics, including risk limit monitoring and compliance with policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Self-driven, proactive individual with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in navigating processes and implementing enhancements.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Treasury, finance, regulatory compliance, or resolution planning.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
