The Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team, responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Inform patients of all aspects of their exam, ensuring their understanding and consent.
  • Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort during the exam.
  • Maintain visual and verbal contact with patients during the exam.
  • Perform scans in accordance with center protocols.
  • Administer intravenous contrast as required.
  • Complete all forms related to patient exams.
  • Record patient data in the Tech Data Entry program.
  • Provide and issue films/CDs when necessary.
  • Forward data and/or films/CDs to radiologists upon completion of the exam.
  • Assist clerical staff as needed.
  • Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as necessary.
  • Adhere to all necessary training and licensing requirements.

Requirements

  • Prior MRI scanning experience.
  • MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications.
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
