MRI Imaging Specialist

Shields Health is seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and operating MRI equipment to capture high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
Inform patients of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
Ensure patients are cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort.
Maintain visual and verbal contact with patients during the exam.
Perform scans in accordance with center's protocol.
Administer intravenous contrast.
Complete all forms pertaining to patient's exam.
Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
Forward data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
Requirements:
Prior MRI scanning experience.
MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications.
Fantastic interpersonal skills.
Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time.
Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties.
Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.
