Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Butler Hospital. As a key member of our Inpatient Assessment Center, you will provide direct patient care and participate in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care based on ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, hospital policies, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.
  • Participate in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning.
  • Coordinate psychiatric and/or medical emergencies to ensure the individual in crisis is properly cared for and all other patients are safe.
  • Administer medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
  • Assume the role of Charge Nurse for the shift.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RI nursing license.
  • B.S.N preferred.
Schedule

36/72 Full Time Eves, week 1: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, week 2: Sun, Tue, Thu, Fri.
