Role Summary:
The Batching Technician is responsible for overseeing the batch-mixing process, ensuring the precise blending of raw materials to create high-quality plant-based milk products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate the blending process during batch production.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on blending procedures.
  • Conduct analytical testing to ensure product quality.
  • Utilize forklifts safely as required, adhering to all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Handle the proper disposition of unused raw materials, ensuring correct labeling for storage.
  • Maintain effective product storage and rotation practices.
  • Execute comprehensive cleaning tasks within the manufacturing environment, including sanitation of in-line and off-line processes.
  • Clean various equipment and areas within the facility, including weighing containers, scoops, totes, floors, and mixing machinery.
  • Participate in daily shift meetings to discuss production goals and updates.
  • Uphold visual management standards in the work area.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Follow all GMP and food safety protocols diligently.
  • Perform necessary preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions for timely repairs.
  • Create and manage work orders as needed.
  • Complete all required training within designated timelines.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to weights and measures.
  • Proficient in reading and comprehending simple instructions.
  • Fluent in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work overtime and additional shifts as needed.
