Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Batcher to join our team at Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. in Seabrook, New Jersey. As a Batcher, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper blends of concentrates are used according to customer specifications.

This role requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. You will be responsible for reading and following blending guidelines, performing quality checks, and adjusting batches to meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow blending guidelines to ensure accurate blends
  • Perform quality checks to ensure batches meet specifications
  • Adjust batches as needed to meet quality standards
  • Use computer touch screen to fill batch tanks with bulk ingredients
  • Use hand-held scanners to batch formulas

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift certification
  • Six months manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency in mathematics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the food/beverage industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented; ability to multi-task

Physical Requirements:

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a production setting. You will be required to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend, and/or crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to wet and humid conditions and fluctuations in ambient temperature.
