About the Role

We are seeking a talented Retail Store Associate to join our team at adidas Queens Center in New York City. As a Retail Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and inclusive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products, features, and promotions.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up and maintaining displays, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with store events and promotions, including setting up and maintaining displays, and engaging with customers.
Requirements
  • Availability must be flexible and include evenings and weekends.
  • Hours are part-time and will vary based on business needs.
  • You must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Three to six months' experience working in a retail environment preferred.
  • Basic numeracy, literacy, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.

  • Employees accrue prorated flexible time off in the amount 1 hour per every 30 hours worked.
  • The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $21.39.
