**About the Job:**

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our team at The University of Texas at Austin. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex data pipelines and automation of cloud-based workloads.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop exceptional technical products that meet University needs. Your expertise in cloud technologies and data engineering principles will enable us to transform university outcomes and advance academic excellence.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement complex data pipelines and automation of cloud-based workloads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical products.
  • Ensure performance and reliability through monitoring and automated alerting processes.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least three years of Data Engineering experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Three years of experience implementing and monitoring complex data pipelines and automation of cloud-based workloads.
