Job Overview
A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Substation Engineer to design high/medium voltage electrical distribution for large scale data center campuses in Phoenix, Arizona or Austin, Texas. As a key member of the design team, you will drive physical designs for substations and oversee the production of detailed drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design high and medium voltage electrical distribution systems for multiple data center campuses exceeding 1000MW capacity.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline design teams, owners, and contractors to develop comprehensive construction documents.
- Oversee the production of one-line diagrams, conceptual designs, plan-section drawings, foundation, grounding, specifications, and additional drawings needed to complete construction documents.
- Work independently, managing priorities and providing mentorship to junior staff.
- Develop proposals (scope of work, estimate, etc.)

Requirements
- 7+ years of Professional Substation Engineering design experience designing high/medium voltage power distribution systems.
- Valid P.E. license and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and ability to think strategically.
- Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM, and Revit.

What We Offer
- Competitive estimated salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
