Job Description:

Residential Support Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support services to adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Thrift Store Sales Associate.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients and customers
  • Sort and hang clothing in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Perform tasks such as cleaning, dusting, and maintaining the store's appearance
  • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions
  • Inform customers about weekly sales and promotions
  • Assist with donations and processing of donations
  • Follow all policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience in a retail or sales environment
  • Basic math skills to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
