At Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, we are seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personalized care to our residents in a skilled care setting. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the nurse in charge to provide routine nursing care and assist with more complex tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic nursing care including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with range of motion exercises and transfers.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Document resident care and report any changes or concerns to the nurse in charge.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of South Carolina.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Good physical and emotional health.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
- Kind, patient, and caring attitude towards residents and colleagues.
- Maturity and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
