Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and Route Calls: Respond to incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, utilizing your excellent communication skills to resolve issues and provide information.
  • Take Messages and Forward: Take messages as necessary and forward them to the appropriate individuals, ensuring that all communication is handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate Conference Calls: Arrange and coordinate conference calls for physicians, administration, and other staff members, utilizing your organizational skills to ensure seamless communication.
  • Greet and Direct Patients: Greet and direct patients and family members in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive first impression of our organization.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and family information, adhering to our organization's strict confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with patients, families, and team members in a manner that promotes dignity and respect, utilizing your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Prior multi-line phone system and customer service experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of multi-line phone systems, general office practices and procedures, and computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Abilities: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, co-workers, and the public, as well as work independently with little or no supervision.
