Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and screenings to identify patients' nutritional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patients' nutritional deficiencies and promote optimal health.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition care and make adjustments as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Support the development and implementation of nutrition-related policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Completion of a Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)-approved or accredited internship with emphasis on clinical nutrition.
