Job Title: Test Associate 1

Location: Boise, ID

Compensation: $14 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Test Associate 1 to join our team at Lionbridge Games. As a Test Associate 1, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our games by identifying and reporting bugs, executing test cases, and providing feedback to improve the gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute Test Cases: Follow the test plan and execute test cases accurately and efficiently with guidance from your mentor.
  2. Identify Issues: Use your analytical skills to uncover hidden bugs and potential threats within the game.
  3. Document Bugs: Log your findings clearly in our bug database, helping us squash those bugs for good.
  4. Regression Testing: Revisit previous test cases to ensure bugs are truly vanquished.
  5. Feedback & Suggestions: Provide feedback and recommendations to improve game quality and enhance the user experience.
  6. Lifecycle Testing: Playtest the game through various stages of its lifecycle, ensuring it's ready for launch.
  7. Update QA Test Cases: Assist in updating and refining our testing strategies.
  8. Knowledge Enhancement: Continuously upgrade your knowledge of testing processes and gaming hardware.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 0-6 months of experience in game testing or similar roles.
  • A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of various game genres.
  • Knowledgeable about different gaming platforms and their nuances.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
