We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to provide onsite management support for a significant Microsoft Teams Hybrid Implementation Project. This role involves overseeing various aspects of the project to ensure successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate familiarity with Information Technology terminology, particularly related to Microsoft Teams Phone and other SaaS/UCaaS solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive long- and short-term project plans, establishing targets for milestones and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Delegate project tasks to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
  • Facilitate biweekly transition meetings with international teams.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Continuously monitor project advancement and generate detailed reports on measurable outcomes, including milestones and deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Make informed decisions when faced with multiple options for project progression and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Engage with leadership to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with system architects to maintain quality control throughout the development process.
  • Adjust project schedules and targets as needed, communicating changes effectively to all parties involved.
Qualifications:

Travel: While the position is primarily remote, occasional onsite presence at the Department of State's location may be required.

Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant experience in project management within the last decade, with in-depth knowledge of MS Teams, Session Border Controllers, Cisco's CUCM Telephony Product line, and Avaya Voice Product Line. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in voice systems deployment as a Project Manager, along with three years of operational experience and two years managing voice solutions in VOIP and cloud environments. Proficiency in Cisco Call Manager versions 10 and above and Avaya Voice Product line is essential. Strong communication skills and client-facing experience are required, along with expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in managing and delivering Cisco Collaboration tool projects in an enterprise setting is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with CCT Routing & Switching, CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution. PMP certification is a plus.

Clearance: A TS clearance is preferred, but candidates with a Secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS will be considered.
