At ManTech International Corporation, we're seeking a highly skilled Lead Database Administrator to join our team in Springfield, VA. Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain client and database platforms to ensure seamless operations.
  • Evaluate key business organizational challenges and develop innovative solutions to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Manage database utilities, monitor relationships between database users and applications, and ensure data integrity.
  • Work in secure, complex environments and demonstrate expertise in database security and compliance.
  • Verify and validate scripts used for database upgrades and testing, utilizing test environments to evaluate proposed changes and patches.
  • Maintain the organization's database across multiple platforms and computing environments.
  • Supervise and mentor subordinate staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Hands-on experience as a Database Analyst Lead with the ability to perform technical database analysis.
  • Ability to maintain the integrity, availability, and security of multiple SQL Servers.
  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of server and database activities, including maintenance, modification, and quality assurance and testing of patches and planned upgrades.
  • Develop custom programs for web sites to attract and engage users, and provide desired information.
  • Thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations.
  • Create web front-end user interfaces to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C, VB, or other languages to make business applications accessible.
  • DoD 8570 compliance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IT Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • SQL Server Security.
  • ESRI ArcGIS.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Eligibility.
  • Must complete additional suitability screening.
Physical Requirements:
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/walking/talking and must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Move about to accomplish tasks or move from one work site to another.
  • Constantly position self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Work with computers.
