Malibu Farm Restaurant and Bar is a farm-to-table restaurant located in the heart of Tiburon, California. We serve fresh cocktails made with house-infused spirits, agaves, and fresh-pressed juices daily. Our menu features seasonal dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented General Management Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, this individual will assist with managing the day-to-day food service operations of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with managing food service operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of high-quality food and beverages.
- Supervise and train staff to maintain high standards of service and quality.
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment that meets all health and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Services/Management or related field; alternatively, an Associate's degree with two years of directly related experience.
- Minimum five years' experience in upscale casual dining operation and/or beverage management.
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, including quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with staff, guests, and vendors.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
