Job Summary

F.H. Paschen is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a critical component of our project team, you will work closely with us to manage construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate material procurement and delivery to ensure timely project completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Review and determine the suitability of shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Quote and qualify subcontractor requests for change orders to minimize project delays.
  • Track the status of change orders and Requests for Information to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Collect, verify, and distribute as-builts to ensure accurate project documentation.
  • Maintain project close-out documents to ensure a smooth transition to project completion.
  • Assist with field supervision to ensure project sites are safe and well-managed.
  • Perform blueprint reading and quantity take-offs to ensure accurate project estimates.
  • Solicit and manage subcontractor services to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Correspond with project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and expectations.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure project deliverables meet specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of technology related to construction, such as Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with computer applications for spreadsheets, word processing, and scheduling.
  • 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or Business.
  • Prior internship experience is a plus.
