Job Title: Server Assistant

The Server Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining a seamless dining experience for our guests. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the dining room environment and equipment are always in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough station checks before, during, and after shifts to guarantee proper setup and cleanliness.
  • Complete designated side work checklists, both opening and closing, to maintain high standards.
  • Keep dining room floors free of debris and spills, and bus tables to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere.
  • Provide exceptional service to all guests, anticipating their needs and addressing them promptly.
  • Assist guests courteously and efficiently, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and station, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-organized.
  • Handle customer requests in a timely and detailed manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Set up side stations with sugar bowls, water pitchers, bread, and butter, as established in the side work sheet.
  • Ensure all silverware is polished and spotless, adhering to our high standards.
  • Follow the cleaning program for the restaurant, as outlined in the side work sheet.
  • Upkeep and clear tables between courses, ensuring a smooth dining experience.
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to guest tables, including tray service, with a smile.
  • Assist in setting up tables according to the floor plan, ensuring a visually appealing atmosphere.
  • Anticipate guest needs, ensuring they never have to ask for anything.
  • Attend all food and beverage training classes when requested, staying up-to-date on the latest knowledge and skills.
  • Wish every guest a warm farewell and thank them for choosing F&B 575 LLC.
  • Be aware of the type of water each guest in their station is drinking, ensuring their preferences are met.
  • Make coffee, tea, and hot beverages for guests, adding a personal touch to their experience.
  • Place all to-go food in appropriate containers, ensuring a convenient and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Attend daily pre-meal/communication meetings and monthly department meetings, staying informed and engaged.
  • Communicate with all servers and server assistants in a professional manner, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Perform all other responsibilities assigned by Management, contributing to the success of F&B 575 LLC.
Requirements:
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, and be a self-motivator and motivator of others.
  • Ability to work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner, with good knowledge of food and beverage preparations.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming, consistently delighting and satisfying our guests.
  • Ability to handle guest requests in a detailed manner, with TIPS and ServSafe certification.
