Production Engineer Opportunity

Solstice Consulting Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to lead distillation projects and hydrogenation reactors, collaborating with plant operations to implement process improvements and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the operation of distillation projects and/or hydrogenation reactors, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
  • Collaborate with plant utilities to optimize operations and meet plant goals.
  • Provide technical support to Operations Management for specific product campaigns, ensuring data-driven decision making.
  • Work closely with QA to ensure all product specifications are met, and develop procedures for future production.
  • Troubleshoot plant operations when actual results do not meet expectations, and generate reports to detail and summarize projects or campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain schedules to meet production demand, and actively participate with operators to identify process and HSE improvements.
  • Assist in optimizing waste disposition to improve cost savings, and lead quarterly improvement meetings with Technical personnel.
  • Lead pre-campaign meetings to discuss all items related to upcoming projects, ensuring a smooth start-up process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in distillation and hydrogenation reactor projects required.
  • Able to participate in the company's on-call facility policy, when needed.
  • Have or have ability to obtain necessary certifications and licenses.
  • Honeywell Experion, Delta V and/or MS Project experience preferred.

  • Base salary of $100k - $125k DOE, plus 10% bonus opportunity.
