Davies Risk Services is seeking independent contractors in the Charlotte, NC area to perform insurance property inspections for our insurance carrier clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments with property owners
  • Photograph and evaluate the overall condition of the property
  • Effectively communicate via phone, email, and face-to-face discussions
  • Observe commercial and residential properties for potential areas of risk
  • Complete a brief report of your observations and upload photos to the field service platform
  • Follow carrier instructions and maintain quality standards
  • Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
  • Local travel to perform field inspections
Requirements:
  • Car, Microsoft computer, smartphone, and reliable home internet
  • Observant and curious
  • Ability to take pictures and accurately measure square footage
  • Skills in time management and verbal/written communications
  • Basic computer skills, typing, uploading, and downloading documents, email, Microsoft Outlook and Word, as well as using the internet
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in construction, firefighting & safety, real estate or previous military service
