Per Diem Medical Imaging Specialist

The Elliot Health is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Per Diem Medical Radiographer-Nuclear Medicine to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a working knowledge of all radiographic and CT Scan equipment within the department.
- Provide radiation protection to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology.
- Required Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification.
- Required ARRT (CT) certification within 24 months of hire.
- Required ARRT (Rad Tech) certification.
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
