About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for preparing patients for scans, operating ultrasound equipment, and working with physicians to review vascular images. You will need to interpret sonograms accurately and provide excellent patient care. Your duties will include preparing patients' medical records, ensuring lab and examination rooms are properly sterilized, and performing sonographic examinations to develop vascular images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for ultrasound examinations
- Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment
- Performing sonographic examinations to develop vascular images
- Generating analytical reports and documentation from sonogram results
- Assisting physicians with reviewing and interpreting ultrasound images
- Communicating and explaining sonography examinations and results to patients
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of working experience as a Vascular Sonographer
- BLS/ACLS Certification and RVT certification required
You will work out of the Manchester or Londonderry, New Hampshire office.
Additional Information:
Full-time hourly range of $40.00 to $50.00 per hour plus medical, dental, and vision benefits.
