Machinist Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Saginaw Products Corporation. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating machine tools to produce precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand production requirements.
• Operate various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to produce high-quality parts.
• Use precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform basic math calculations to determine material requirements and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of machine shop courses or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
