Position Overview: We are actively looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while executing precise specimen collections. You will represent the organization and have opportunities for professional advancement.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including rotating weekends and holiday shifts. The total weekly hours will be 40, with potential adjustments based on operational needs.

Location: The position is based in a designated area, subject to change as per business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct blood draws using venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages.
  • Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screenings and paternity tests.
  • Accurately enter patient data in a timely manner.
  • Handle billing information and process payments as necessary.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks as required.
  • Travel to additional locations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited organization is preferred.
  • Prior experience in phlebotomy is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record may be required.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
