Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- One year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
