Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Oncology Consultants. As a Physician Assistant in Oncology, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with various types of cancer.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care and ensure seamless transitions between treatment phases.
  • Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and administer medications as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs throughout the treatment process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and clinic guidelines.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in an oncology setting.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
  • Acute Care certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced oncology clinic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
