Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and efficient Medical Assistant to join our Clinical Support Team as a Float. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a variety of shifts available, including days, evenings, and weekends. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in a team environment to promote a positive experience in patient care with compassion and kindness.
  • Perform duties under the Medical Assistant scope of practice based on clinics' needs.
  • Support and work under the supervision of the Physician and/or Advanced Practice Provider.
  • Communicate accurately and positively with team members.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), National Healthcare Association (CCMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA), or National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP).
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network required at hire.
