Role Summary: The Shipping Solutions Advisor will assist clients through various communication platforms, including chat, email, and phone. This position is focused on addressing operational or procedural questions related to our services and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to clients via all GLS communication channels.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive atmosphere among team members.
  • Emphasize a customer-centric approach in all interactions.
  • Assist clients with inquiries regarding services, tracking shipments, scheduling pickups, and resolving issues.
  • Ensure that solutions proposed effectively resolve client concerns through confirmation via verbal or written communication.
  • Deliver professional support to guarantee client satisfaction.
  • Manage customer interactions with professionalism and tact.
  • Propose pricing and services that align with the client's shipping needs.
  • Follow established protocols for providing high-quality customer service.
  • Recommend and process requests for account modifications in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED, with one to three months of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in a professional context.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with energy.
  • Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Demonstrated organizational capabilities with the ability to take initiative and follow up independently.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision.
  • Proven customer service experience in a call center setting.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and TalkDesk software applications.
