Medical Surgical Clinical Instructor, Full-time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Faculty Member to join our team at West Coast University. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in guiding nursing students to achieve their full potential and become exceptional healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Mentorship and Guidance: Provide academic support and guidance to students, serving as a role model and facilitator in their learning journey.
- Teaching and Learning: Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and the teaching/learning process, applying your skills and experience to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilize your clinical expertise to instruct students, ensuring they develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality patient care.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Participate in assessment activities to evaluate student performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of our curriculum.
- Scholarly Activities: Engage in scholarly activities to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
- Professional Growth and Service: Participate in professional growth and service activities, aligning with university policies and promoting student success.
- Clinical Experience: A minimum of two years of prior experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care, with a minimum of one year of experience in the field in which you teach.
- Education: A Master's degree in nursing and professional nurse licensure are required.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local laws and regulations, as well as regulatory standards such as state Board of Nursing.
